Lauren Scardella is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC, and Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ. She has been practicing in the area of Municipal Court Defense and Criminal Defense since 2009 and focuses her practice on Driving While Intoxicated, simple traffic and criminal defense in New Jersey Municipal Courts. She has extensive teaching experience and has been recognized by her peers in the annual Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of DWI defense every year since 2023 and was recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in DWI defense between 2017 and 2021. She is the founder and sole member of The Scardella Law Firm LLC, located in Hamilton, NJ. In June 2025, she moved herself and her two adorable dogs to Scottsdale, Arizona, but continues to run a thriving practice remotely in New Jersey.
