A practical examination of legal staffing, career development, and workforce strategy in today’s competitive and rapidly evolving legal market.

The legal profession is undergoing a fundamental shift in how talent is hired, developed, and retained. Traditional career paths, firm structures, and staffing models are being reshaped by changing expectations, remote work, market volatility, and increased pressure on both lawyers and legal professionals to deliver more with fewer resources.
This program examines the legal talent market from a practical, insider perspective. Drawing on decades of experience in legal staffing, training, and career development, the session focuses on what is actually happening in law firms and legal departments today—and what decision-makers often misunderstand about hiring, retention, and career sustainability.
Attendees will gain clear, actionable insight into how legal careers are built, why firms struggle to attract and keep talent, and how professionals can position themselves for long-term success. The emphasis is on real-world market dynamics, not theory or generic career advice.
