Kathy is of counsel to the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm and handles complex medical malpractice actions, providing consultation to the firm due to her extensive experience. As a nurse attorney, she previously led the Medical Malpractice Department as a partner in another law firm for 29 years. During her career, she has tried and litigated complicated medical malpractice cases, including birth injuries, cancer, traumatic brain injuries, surgical malpractice, and psychiatric malpractice. Kathy attended Pace University, earning her B.S. from the Lienhard School of Nursing and her J.D. from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law. She is a frequent lecturer, a skilled mediator, and serves as the Co-Chair of the Lawyer Assistance Committee for the New York City Bar Association. She was also previously on the Advisory Board for the School of the Health Professions at Pace University.
