Before joining the MediVisuals team in 1990, Lance worked in Needham Heights, Massachusetts, for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company as a senior accountant, overseeing the accounting needs of two distribution centers with gross revenues exceeding $90 million. Thomas L. Gallivan represents individuals and families in cases of nursing home neglect and abuse, medical malpractice, and personal injury. He has extensive experience representing the elderly in nursing home cases involving bedsores (pressure injuries, pressure ulcers, decubitus ulcers), falls resulting in fractures and death, sexual abuse, physical abuse, choking, aspiration, sepsis, and wrongful death. Mr. Gallivan serves as of counsel to Duffy & Duffy, LLP, one of the preeminent personal injury firms in New York. He has recovered more than $30 million for nursing home victims and millions more for those injured due to medical malpractice, birth injuries, motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, and construction accidents. Prior to founding the Law Offices of Thomas L. Gallivan, PLLC, Mr. Gallivan defended nursing homes, physicians, hospitals, and their insurers. As a result of this experience, Mr. Gallivan is highly familiar with the strategies employed by nursing homes, physicians, hospitals, and their insurers. He uses his experience defending these cases to benefit his current clients—victims of nursing home neglect and abuse, medical malpractice, or personal injury. Mr. Gallivan also represents individuals accused of breaking the law. He represents criminal defendants charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), petit larceny, assault, drug offenses, and domestic violence, as well as other misdemeanors and felonies. While in law school, Mr. Gallivan worked in the United States Attorney’s Office (Criminal Division) and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
