This course addresses managing domestic violence case in mediation, including: -amending restraining orders to allow mediation; -individual screening for severity and dynamics of domestic violence; -protective procedures for the mediation process; -controlling the mediation process; -developing appropriate parenting plans; and -research demonstrating less repeat violence after mediation cases compared to court.
