Nathaniel V. Chittick, J.D., LL.M, (Nate) is a Partner at Prior Law Firm, in Georgia. Nate specializes in trust-based estate planning with emphasis on special needs trusts, elder law, and estate tax planning. Before joining Prior Law Firm, Nate served as a U.S. Marine and Soldier for more than 25 years. He was twice decorated for valor during combat actions in Iraq and later transferred to the Army to serve as a judge advocate. Nate became interested in estate planning when he learned one of his sons was autistic and needed a special needs trust. He could not find a local attorney to help, so he set out to do the job himself. Nate returned to school and earned a second LL.M in Wealth Management (Tax Law, Estate Planning, and Investment Advising) from Texas A&M University.
