As Director of the Nassau County Bar Association Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP), Dr. Eckhardt provides confidential professional counseling services to lawyers, judges, law students and their families struggling with mental health and substance use issues. In addition, Dr. Eckhardt conducts evaluations and makes treatment referrals. LAP provides early identification, peer support, stress management, motivation, and monitoring services. Dr. Eckhardt frequently facilitates Dr. Elizabeth Eckhardt is the Director of the Nassau County Bar Association Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP). She offers confidential counseling services to lawyers, judges, law students, and their families who are struggling with mental health and substance use issues. Carolyn Reinach Wolf is an Executive Partner in the law firm of Abrams, Fensterman, LLP in Lake Success, New York and Director of the Firm’s Mental Health Law practice.
