Francesca is a special education attorney at Cuddy Law Firm's Valhalla office. She is a graduate of Fairfield University (B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology, with minors in Educational Studies and Religious Studies). She attended Brooklyn Law School (J.D.), where she was part of the two-year accelerated program and is a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Sociology Honor Society. Francesca’s practice focuses on special education advocacy and litigation, representing underserved populations in education-related matters. At Fairfield University, Francesca minored in Educational Studies, interning as a student teacher, guidance counselor, and student mentor. She was also an active member of Best Buddies International, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. While at Brooklyn Law School, she served as the Executive Secretary of the Italian American Law Student Association. Francesca is an active member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) and served as co-chair of the special education law committee for three years. She is also a member of the New York Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Columbian Lawyers, Brooklyn Chapter. Francesca has presented on various education law topics at the NYSBA, Brooklyn Bar Association, National Allies for Parents in Special Education (NAPSE), and the NY Academy of Trial Lawyers, among others. Francesca has also had two articles published in the NYSBA’s Elder Law and Special Needs Planning Journal, focusing on the individualized education program process and educational evaluations.
