This course is designed to provide the latest updates in family law, and a comprehensive overview of how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted family law. Throughout the program, you'll explore several critical topics that have become more complex due to the pandemic, including divorce rates, child support calculation, and business valuation in divorce cases.
In addition, you'll learn about the ethical standards and professional responsibilities that attorneys must adhere to when representing their clients, including conflict of interest and consequences for violating ethical standards. The course will cover the State Bar's obligations and duties and the penalties that the State Bar may impose on attorneys who violate ethical standards.

Certified as a specialist in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and focusing her practice exclusively on that area of the law, Daryl G. Weinman is the founder of Weinman & Associates, P.C. Based in Austin and represents clients throughout the region. Ms. Weinman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. The majority of Ms. Weinman's practice is centered on divorce and its related issues, including child custody and visitation, spousal and child support, and the division of marital assets and debts. Cole Reder is a skilled professional with experience in a range of multimedia and technical fields. He has extensive experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, recording audio via DAW, and using XSplit Broadcaster. He is also highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
