I help high performing hospitals, health systems, medical groups and other health care organizations nationwide as they navigate complex and challenging financial, legal, regulatory and strategic challenges and opportunities. I provide support as a consultant or as an attorney, depending on the scope of support needed and client preference. Hall Render is the largest health care focused law firm in the country. I lead the firm's Health Regulatory practice group and at this point have assisted health care organizations in nearly all 50 states on compliance matters, provider compensation strategies, value-based contracting and health regulatory issues. I am a nationally recognized speaker for health care trade associations and have given hundreds of in-person, web-based, podcast and client presentations in recent years. I currently serves as the vice chair of educational programming for the American Health Law Association’s Fraud & Abuse Practice Group. I am licensed as an attorney in both Florida and Wisconsin and am engaged in their state bar associations. Prior to law school, I served as a combat engineer officer in the United States Army.
