Chris is a partner at the Schwartzapfel Law Firm focusing on negligence cases with catastrophic injuries and wrongful death, where he routinely returns multi-million dollar recoveries. He has been named a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, National Trial Lawyers' "Top 100", and he serves on the Academy's Board as Vice President of the 2nd Department.

Christina Sonsire is a partner at the Ziff Law Firm in Elmira, New York where she represents plaintiffs in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Christina currently serves on the Academy's Board of Directors as Vice President for the Third Department. She also sits on the Judicial Screening Committee, responsible for interviewing candidates for the New York State Court of Appeals and making recommendations to the Governor. Christina attended law school at the University of Montana, was an undergraduate soccer star at Georgetown University and has always been involved with public service.
