Master accurate calculation of lost compensation and lifetime care costs to maximize recovery in complex construction accident cases.

In construction injury litigation, the difference between a strong damages case and a weak one often comes down to how thoroughly lost wages, fringe benefits, and future medical costs have been analyzed. This course explains how expert economists and rehabilitation specialists construct the financial analyses that underpin these claims — and what attorneys need to understand to work with them effectively.
The course covers wage and benefit valuation for both union and non-union construction workers, including machine operators, carpenters, electricians, and sandhogs, with attention to the documentation that drives these calculations. It also addresses the unique considerations that arise in construction cases, including undocumented worker status, union benefit structures, and the long-term costs of serious injury.
