The adversarial process can be taken to extremes, to where it may become an internal aspect of a firm's culture. This obstructs the kind of cooperation that can ease and expedite workloads. It's also been shown to create a level of stress that is extremely unhealthy; including life-threatening issues. Furthermore, we've all heard the expression “you catch more flies with honey,” and yet the singular adversarial approach works against this.
