About This Course

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has actively pursued significant enforcement actions for the first half of FY 2023, zeroing in on various violations within the securities industry.

Notably, the SEC has taken measures against unregistered cryptocurrency exchanges and securities offerings, while continuing to ramp up its enforcement efforts in the ESG space. Moreover, with cybersecurity breaches, market manipulation, artificial intelligence, and other emerging regulatory challenges on the horizon, it is crucial for industry participants to stay ahead of these developments to protect themselves and their investors.

Listen as distinguished securities practitioners Adrienna Huffman (The Brattle Group) and Joni S. Jacobsen (Dechert LLP) provide the audience with an in-depth analysis of the current state of securities litigation and enforcement. In this update, the speakers will provide insights on recent SEC actions, significant court rulings, and notable trends from the first half of 2023.
